WEST BRONG MEN'S FELLOWSHIP OF THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF GHANA DONATES TO SAMPA GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL


The men's fellowship of the Presbyterian church of Ghana in the west brong as part of their convention schedule have donate some important items to Sampa Government hospital. The items includes soft drinks, Milo, biscuit and toiletries and others. Presenting the items, Mr. Hayford Yeboah, the president of the fellowship stated that the items are given to the hospital  as part of their convention docket.


He said, they are to empower others through gift and the likes. "Since here is a place for the general public, we decided to come here with these items to help all those who come here for treatment " he stated.


Receiving the items Mr. Baaji Andrews a nurse also thanks the church and showed appreciation for such a great work. "Most of the items you have brought here are highly needed, most especially the toiletries because sometimes for a patient to get access to some of  these things, it takes them some time since they are not sold in our premises here." He added.

Finally some of the admitted patients also expressed their felicitous moment to the men's fellowship of the above mentioned church

JAMAN NORTH DCE PRESENTS MOTORBIKES TO AGRIC EXTENSION OFFICERS IN THE DISTRICT

The District Chief Executive for Jaman north Hon. Adane Ankomah has today presented 10 motorbikes to the agric extension officers in the district.  This is to ensure that the officers carry out their duties without any difficulties.  "As the president promised to ensure that the work of our dear farmers travel to some expected level, he has made it possible by ensuring that our cashew farmers in the district benefit from cashew seedlings, also there are trained personnel who go round our various farms to ensure that our farmers are doing the right things to help boost their yields. QUEEN MOTHERS FOUNDATION OF GHANA CONDEMNS THE CONDUCT OF THE MINORITY IN PARLIAMENT DURING THE SWEARING IN OF HON LYDIA ALHASSAN AND DEMAND AN APOLOGY

The Queen Mothers Association of Ghana is highly appalled by the conduct of the Minority in Parliament, on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, during the swearing in of the Member of Parliament Elect of the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan, involving the display of placards with inscription, “BLOODY WIDOW” in direct reference to her. As much as we acknowledge their right to stage a walkout from parliament, we think that some level of responsibility and civility should accompany the exercise of such right. On account of this, we find as highly unacceptable and repugnant, the display of the placards bearing those inscriptions, and indeed, the overwhelming revulsion expressed by the Ghanaian people at their misconduct, vindicates our position.
